Using the Class Web Site Worksheet #1

You will need to effectively use our class Web site. Most of my lecture notes, teaching objectives, vocabulary word lists, and even some quizzes and tests are placed online. You will be able to access the Web site from our classroom during class and after school. You can also access the site from the school library. You are expected to log on to the computer and immediately read our Classwork Calendar Web page at the beginning of each class. This page will list the major class activities and even allow you to follow hyperlinks directly to online worksheets and lecture notes. If you do not check the Classwork Calendar at the beginning of each class period, you will be considered to be off task and may receive detention. You must also check our Homework Calendar Web page each class period in order to note the homework assignment. Presently, I write the daily homework assignment on the classroom chalkboard but may discontinue that habit in the future requiring you to rely exclusively on the Homework Calendar. Note that you can often see future homework assignments on the Homework Calendar and work ahead.
