AppInventorApp

Use Google's AppInventor to create an app that serves a practical purpose for students, teachers, administrators, parents, and/or residents of the school district.  The app must have a professional, user-friendly interface. If possible, this app can use a TinyWebDB database but that is not absolutely necessary.

First, you must submit a typed proposal and storyboard. In the typed proposal, you must introduce the project, explain what "problem" is being solved by this app, and why your app is especially useful to some audience within the school district. Also, storyboard the interfaces and/or Activities that your app will display and explain the interaction that the user will have to go from one to the other.

When your project is near completion, you must have it beta-tested by a user (preferably one person that is not in our class.) You must turn in the beta-testing form.

Preconditions:

  • none

You must hand in the following on separate pages stapled in this specified order:

  1. Screen capture(s) of the emulator during runtime
  2. Beta-testing form
  3. Barcode for downloading the app
  4. Screen snapshot of the code blocks
  5. Upload the project to your sites.google.com
